Le opportunità digitali per le 5 milioni di aziende italiane sono molto più ampie di quanto si possa pensare. I numeri raccontano che dei 2.2000 miliardi di euro fatturati a livello B2B (business to business), ovvero tutte le vendite tra sole aziende, necessarie per la transazione finale tra azienda e consumatore (B2C, business to consumer), solo il 15% (335 miliardi) si realizza con strumenti di e-commerce. Un dato coerente con il nostro 25° posto in Europa per digitalizzazione, ma che segnala un vasto spazio di crescita nel quale il ritorno sull’investimento è decisamente elevato.
Tale percentuale è infatti molto disomogenea: sono principalmente le grandi aziende, che si rivolgono ai mercati esteri, e pochi settori, come quello automotive, ad adottare l’e-commerce B2B. Invece, quando si parla di PMI, l’ossatura della nostra economia, il tasso di utilizzo precipita al 2,6%.
