Instead, when it comes to SMEs, the backbone of our economy, the usage rate drops to 2.6%.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong><i>To prevent the digital wave from turning into a tsunami, companies must undertake a digitalisation path in which<br \/>\nB2B e-commerce plays a primary role.<\/i><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>B2B e-commerce<\/strong> allows companies to operate efficiently and significantly reduce costs, thanks to major reductions in time and error margins, while also delivering innovative and higher-quality services to customers.<\/p>\n<p>Although B2B e-commerce tools have existed for years, they have recently been influenced by B2C models: platforms such as eBay and Amazon have become popular thanks to ease of use and visual design. This evolution has pushed companies to focus on the quality of the content used to present products: it is no longer enough to provide a code and a description; a varied range of detailed information must be offered, including visual content, related products and recommended products. A well-implemented <strong>B2B e-commerce<\/strong> system can positively impress buyers, resulting in increased purchases and greater loyalty towards the company.<\/p>\n<p><strong>B2B e-commerce<\/strong> can unlock huge opportunities, but only with a broad digitalisation strategy can a company truly relaunch its business.
